AUTISM ASSISTANCE DOGS
ELIGIBILITY:
Must be at least 5 years of age diagnosed with ASD.
Must provide a mental health form from your child’s mental health care provider stating a service dog would be beneficial to help mitigate their disability
Must be able to pass a background check (primary handler)
Must be able to financially care for a service dog (routine vet care, food, equipment, supplies, etc.)

Deep Pressure Therapy
Light Pressure Therapy
Tactile Stimulation
Tethering
We do not train tethering for safety purposes alone. We only train tethering as two leashes - one for child, one for primary handler. This is to provide the child with an object to hold. We are also able to provide a handle harness for our Autism Assistance Dogs as well.
